The ambiance is great, very bright and welcoming. I love that there are multiple counters to order from. I ordered an omelette, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also got the morning bun, sticky honey muffin, and the peach scone. All items were great, but the star of the show was the morning bun - best morning bun I've ever had.

Joan's is a treasure trove! It's always very lively inside, so it's hard to be in a bad mood. The service is friendly and although they usually have a full house, they're able to accommodate everyone. I like that they have rotating options. My favorite is probably their pasta or their baked goods. This is a lunch spot or brunch spot.

Joan's on Third in Studio City was great. We were able to order quickly and easily found a table for 3. We had the breakfast burrito (they can substitute veggie sausage for the bacon), the English muffin breakfast sandwich, the turkey and avocado sandwich, a slice of pumpkin bread, a lavender matcha latte and a mimosa. The sandwiches and burrito were amazing, and so filling we each took a half home. I had the breakfast burrito with veggie sausage and it was amazing. The pumpkin bread looked boring but the flavors were great and it was very moist. The latte was beautiful and good. I'd pass on the mimosa, it was served in a basic water glass and not very appealing. All in an all good food and good dining experience, I'll be back.

One of the best Short Rib Sandwiches on the planet. Perfectly toasted brioche bread, filled with pulled juicy , tender beef short rib meat, topped up with toasted cheese, caramelized onions, some greens and a light sauce of some kind. Unbelievable taste of savory, with caramelized onions adding some sweet notes. The masterpiece has been created. My once a month meal for sure! The ambiance is industrial style, high ceilings, a lot of open space and a great spot to people watch. The colors are light and welcoming. The customer service is pretty good.

Always enjoy the option for a nice casual lunch when nosing around the deli. Spacious, airy, and lots of fun things to try. Prompt and efficient service to the table. Brisket sandwich was beautifully grilled and full of unctuous meat and cheese. Tough to make a decision on which salad option to select. My companion is a fiend for tuna, so that was quickly decided. The Brussel sprouts contains dates which was an intriguing combo - done. Amd thé beans also looked good. Tuna was full of extras, but a tad dry. Thé Brussel sorouts had nice pieces of date and shaved Parmesan. The beans were a nice variety and a tangy dressing.

I must say that their Chinese chicken salad is my favorite salad around! Very simple but hits the spot and their portion size for the price is great! Had the short rib sandwich for the first time and it's outstanding! Quality of the meat is great and the sandwich is delicious! I've only been a few times and haven't ate there but the service seems good. They had my food ready when I picked it up and the employees were friendly. The restaurant itself has a cool set up. Only downside is the parking situation, it can be difficult to find a spot.

Finally got to try Joan's on Third over the weekend and see what the Chinese chicken salad was all about. We found parking in the neighborhood behind Ventura place, which was free and not a very for walk at all. There's so many good food places on this street! When we got to Joan's, it was busy with people eating inside and outside. We had ordered online and were just picking up our food to go, but I wish I was able to eat there and people watch. We went to the counter and asked about our online order, which was promptly given to us and we left. When we got to eat our food, all of our order was there and we each enjoyed what we ordered. I got the Chinese chicken salad, which was very simple but still very delicious and filling. My partner ordered the short rib sandwich was realllyyy good! It was a little on the heavier side, but the flavor was on point. Overall, we enjoyed our food and would go back for dine in for the ambiance!
